This is a journey
Life is a mix of noise
It's not about the songs
It's not about one given time
Because as we know, time goes on forever.
And it's not something you need
Or something you might even want
But the fact remains for us both:
That it is
And it's here.

It's something I've thought about
It's a thought that crossed my mind
It's not about you or me
But it's something from me to you
And it's something I want you to know about
And you probably already know it
Though, I'd like us to share in knowing this idea together
And in this togetherness,
Find more of ourselves in trying to share this common thought.
We may not have enough time to always be around each other,
But this way, you'll always have a part of me with you
And not just my figurative heart.
And knowing that, I have a part of you.
Doing this achieves the indescribable
And maybe you'll see what I see
And just maybe, I'll see what you see
And when we look into each other's eyes
We'll see a little bit of ourselves reflected in the other

And we'll know.
